MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS (BOD) MEETING EMERALD COAST CHAPTER (ECC) INTERNATIONAL TEST AND EVALUATION ASSOCIATION (ITEA) The BOD met Monday, September 7, 1999 in Room 415 of Building 349 on Eglin Air Force Base at 11:30 AM. President Tom Rodgers called the meeting to order at 11:30 AM. Steve Czonstka, Bill Dyess, Clarence Mayo, Scot Crookshanks, Lee Newton, Buff Tibbetts and Mike Buck were present. Andy Keith also attended. The previous meeting's minutes were reviewed and approved with one change. The Treasurer was not present and no report was given. Lee Newton reminded the BOD that the ITEA National Symposium would be held in Atlanta during September 21-23. There would also be a National Board of Directors meeting. He announced that he had been reelected to the National Board as an Industry Representative. He also announce results of the election for other National BOD positions. Mike Buck was presented several letters from colleges and universities acknowledging receipt of ECC Scholarship grants. A thank you note from scholarship recipient John Rodriguez was also received. Andy Keith, Program Cochairman, announced that Col Steve Pitotti, 46th Test Wing Vice Commander, would present a briefing "Global Environments, Threats and Military Strategy," at a joint luncheon meeting with the Eglin AOC at the Enlisted Club at 1100 AM on Tuesday, September 21. Steve Czonstka was assisting with arrangements. There was discussion and suggestions for several future programs. Proposed topics for programs for November through January were presented. Actions to initiate planning for cosponsoring a symposium with the Seek Eagle Program Office March 14-16, 2000 were discussed. The President requested any further topics for discussion. The Secretary reminded the BOD that election of officers for the terms expiring at the end of the year needed to be addressed in the near future. The next regular BOD meeting would be Tuesday, October 4th at 11:30 AM in Room 415, Bldg 349. The meeting adjourned at 12:20 hrs. Steve Czonstka Secretary
